Frequently Asked Questions.

Is Amberen 100% natural?

Yes. Amberen contains only 100% natural ingredients. Amberen’s formula is based on naturally occurring molecules shown to rejuvenate and promote hormonal balance. Amberen is manufactured at a GMP facility. We adhere to the strictest quality control standards and guarantee safety, purity and efficacy of our ingredients.
Why is Amberen recommended as a 90-day course?

Amberen is more than just relieving symptoms. It’s about fundamentally re-tuning your hormonal balance. In observational studies a 90-day Amberen Course has been determined to be optimal for majority of women.
How quickly can I expect to see the results?

It varies. It depends on many factors such as what stage of menopause you’re in, the severity of your symptoms etc. Based on the data gathered from Amberen clinical trials and observational studies, most women feel significant results in approximately 3-4 weeks.
How does Amberen silence the symptoms of menopause?

Though up to 35 distinct symptoms are associated with menopause, they all have a common cause: the body loses its ability to regulate and produce hormones because of age-related changes in the neuroendocrine system, especially the part of the brain called the hypothalamus.

Amberen effectively alleviates common symptoms of menopause by addressing age-related changes in the hypothalamic-pituitary-ovarian axis, which is the core of the female hormonal signaling system. Remarkably, Amberen also restores energy metabolism to more youthful levels, supporting optimal function of vital organs and tissues.
How is Amberen different from other remedies?

Amberen corrects metabolic and neuroendocrine control mechanisms by using a natural signal energy intermediates instead of hormones. It is the only solution of its kind that rejuvenates the body’s own internal hormone production capability.
What are the benefits of Amberen vs. red clover, Black Cohosh and other herbal products?

Amberen has the unique ability to restore the body’s own hormone balancing systems. Symptomatic relief with Amberen comes from the rejuvenation of the body’s own regulatory ability. Red Clover, Black Cohosh and other herbal remedies have been used with varying success for years because of their ability to act like estrogens and bind to estrogen receptors. Though they have been popular non-drug treatments in the past, concerns about allergic responses, poor quality control and limited efficacy have limited their widespread adoption by medical professionals. Soy extracts (isoflavones) have been shown to create problems with thyroid balance, breast cancer risk and allergies as well.

Amberen gets to the root of the menopausal symptoms by restoring youthful signaling and regulatory function of the body’s own control mechanisms instead of “covering up” symptoms.
What are the active ingredients in Amberen?

Amberen consists of intermediary energy metabolites, which are the molecules that naturally occur in our own cells as key components of the Krebs cycle. The Amberen concept evolved from a discovery made by its developers that these molecules not only serve as a vital cellular fuel, but also mimic the effect of signaling hormones!

Is Amberen effective for perimenopausal and menopausal women?

In clinical trials, menopausal and perimenopausal women both reported dramatic improvements in quality of life due to symptom relief.
Can Amberen help in cases of premature menopause?

Yes. In clinical trials, premature menopause was largely reversed. Benefits included restored regularity of menstrual cycles and the return of normal thickness of the endometrium.
Can Amberen help in cases of a Hysterectomy and/or Oophorectomy?

Amberen provides relief from menopausal symptoms primarily at the hypothalamic level, providing benefits that are broader and wider-ranging than just ovarian stimulation. Patients with hysterectomies and/or oophorectomies were not represented in our clinical studies. Most available data on Amberen’s effectiveness for hysterectomy and oophorectomy cases was obtained from the observation and analysis of cases by our scientists over a long period of time outside the framework of the clinical trials.
Will Amberen help me lose weight?

I had hormone receptive cancer in my breast years ago, but I am in remission now. Will Amberen increase my risk for a return of breast cancer?

Patients with hormone-receptive cancers were NOT included in Amberen’s clinical trials, so there is no data regarding cancer survivors. Because every situation is different, we advise you to consult your doctor (oncologist or endocrinologist) or other trusted healthcare provider to see if Amberen would be a good fit at this point in your treatment or remission. For your doctor’s reference, more information about Amberen’s clinical trials is available here: Amberen Clinical Trials.

PLEASE NOTE: If you’re currently taking any prescription drugs that are designed to alter your natural levels of hormones, Amberen may not be good for you, as it will attempt to restore your natural hormonal balance. Make sure to consult your doctor, especially if you are a cancer survivor or have a severe thyroid disorder.
