FAQ

Amberen Frequently Asked Questions

How is Amberen different from other menopause symptom relief products?

Unlike most other products that concentrate on symptomatic relief without addressing the root cause of the problem, Amberen actually supports metabolic and neuroendocrine control mechanisms of the body.

Amberen’s formula is based on naturally-occurring molecules shown to support and promote hormonal balance.* Our proprietary technology produces perfectly-shaped “smart” molecules that your body can readily recognize and use. Inside your cells, these remarkable molecules rejuvenate mitochondria and help your body re-balance your hormone levels.

We are the only company in the world that has the technology to produce “smart molecules” of succinates and fumarates, key ingredients in Amberen, which are bio-identical to those produced in the human body. This means our compounds are shaped for optimal absorption and efficacy. Amberen is manufactured at a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) facility. We adhere to the strictest quality control standards.

Why is Amberen recommended as a 90-day course?

Since Amberen does more than just relieve symptoms, but rather works to support your body’s inherent ability to maintain its hormonal balance, observational studies have shown that a 90-day course is optimal for the majority of women.

How quickly can I expect to see the results?

Results vary, depending on factors such as what stage of menopause you’re in, your symptom profile, etc. Based on data gathered from Amberen clinical trials and observational studies, most women start to notice results in approximately 3-4 weeks. See Amberen reviews here and learn what women have to say about their experiences.

How does Amberen relieve the symptoms of menopause?

While up to thirty-five distinct symptoms are associated with menopause, they all have a common cause: the body has lost its ability to support hormonal balance.

Amberen effectively alleviates common symptoms of menopause by supporting the hypothalamic-pituitary-ovarian axis, which is the core of the female hormonal signaling system.* Amberen also supports energy metabolism required for optimal function of vital organs and tissues.

How is Amberen different from Red Clover, Black Cohosh and other herbal products?

Although Red Clover, Black Cohosh, soy-based products and other herbal remedies have been taken with varying success for years, their main use has been to “cover up” symptoms of menopause. There have also been concerns about allergic responses among users, poor quality control and limited efficacy.

Unlike remedies that address only the symptoms of menopause, Amberen has the unique ability to support hormonal balance, getting to the root of menopausal symptoms by supporting youthful signaling and regulatory function of the body’s own mechanisms.

How do I take Amberen?

What are the main ingredients in Amberen?

Amberen consists of intermediary energy metabolites, which are the molecules that naturally occur in our own cells as key components of the Krebs cycle of metabolism. The Amberen formula evolved from a discovery made by its developers that these molecules support cellular metabolism and have important signaling properties that can help regulate bodily function.

I had hormone-receptor positive breast cancer years ago, but I’m in remission now. Will Amberen increase my risk for a return of breast cancer?

Patients with hormone-receptor positive cancers were NOT included in Amberen’s clinical trials, so there is no data regarding cancer survivors. Because every situation is different, we advise you to consult your doctor (oncologist or endocrinologist) or other trusted healthcare provider to see if Amberen would be a good fit at this point. If you’re currently taking any prescription drugs that are designed to alter your natural hormone levels, Amberen may not be right for you. For your doctor’s reference, more information about Amberen’s clinical trials is available here: Amberen Clinical Trials.

Could Amberen affect my menstrual cycle?

It is becoming a mainstream scientific theory that early onset of menopause can be triggered by external factors, such as stress levels, certain physical conditions, the environment we live in, etc. Therefore, it is not uncommon to have your menstrual cycle return if you are still in perimenopause and have irregular cycles. If you are post-menopause (have not had a cycle for twelve consecutive months) and notice bleeding or spotting, it is highly recommended that you speak to your doctor.
