Perimenopause is a period when your body is getting ready for menopause. Your body changes a lot and the natural ovulation cycle is disrupted; your periods become irregular and you suffer a lot of difficulties in life. Once permanent menopause happens you will not menstruate anymore and the period of perimenopause is over.
